For African athletes that participated at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang, it has emerged that Instagram was the best platform for generating quality interaction with their fans and followers.

A new social media report from Lagos-based sports communication company, CampsBay Media using data provided by sponsorship analytics company Hookit, shows that African athletes generated twice as many interactions on Instagram than they did on Facebook and almost 20 times that of Twitter.
